Our client is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for supervising
the veterinary team and ensuring that our patients receive superior medical care. Your
leadership abilities, clinical experience, and love for animal welfare, together with the
support we provide through our regional teams and support centres, will greatly contribute
to the practice's, your team's, and your own continuous success and growth.
Provide leadership and guidance to the veterinary team, fostering a positive and
collaborative work environment.
Ensure all team members provide quality and ethical care to all patients and clients.
Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions, formulating effective
treatment plans.
Perform a wide range of surgical procedures.
Prescribe medication.
Offer expert advice to pet owners, addressing their concerns and discussing treatment
options.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Maintain patients medical records.
Uphold compliance with all legal and ethical standards in veterinary medicine.
Assist in recruiting and training new veterinary staff with the support of the relevant support
centre teams.
Manage the performance, budget and overall profitability of the practice with support from
regional teams.

Salary: £37,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, + benefits
We are searching for a veterinary surgeon who is eager to get important hospital experience and take
on a full-time GP post at a well-established hospital in London.
The practise provides a great first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to customers
and the local network.
A new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a competent medical staff, and skilled surgeons routinely
performing advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery are all available on-site.
You will also have the full assistance of a team of experienced hospital vets, including a senior
medic/ECC and GP vet, as well as an excellent nursing team comprised of seasoned RVNs, students,
nursing assistants, and front of house team members, as well as on-site clinical managers.
Your rota will be rotational, allowing you to gain experience in all departments of the hospital,
including consulting, surgery, ward, and ECC.
